Consumption of alcohol, caffeinated beverages, sweets, fried foods, and fast food can negatively affect the male reproductive system. This was stated by Doctor of Medical Sciences, nutritionist Mariyat Mukhina in an interview with "Abzats".
According to the specialist, alcohol causes blood vessel constriction, impairs blood circulation, and can lead to sexual dysfunction.
In addition, Mukhina recommended minimizing or completely eliminating products with trans fats, excess sugar, and salt, as they cause vascular spasms and antioxidant deficiency. She specified that products with high caffeine content, baked goods, confectionery, and margarine disrupt the lipid profile, reduce testosterone levels, contribute to L-arginine and antioxidant deficiencies, and also disrupt biorhythms.
