I’ve never had to wear disposable paper underwear for a workout before. To be fair, I’ve also never switched out my clothes for a black, form-fitting two-piece, been buckled into a wet vest and had straps secured around my arms, butt and legs then been plugged into wires before doing lunges.
I’m a bit damp, slightly perturbed and let out a nervous giggle as my trainer Claire gives me a friendly smile and hands me two yellow balls with faded smiley faces on them. “Hold these,” she says before plugging me into the machine in front of me.
Did I mention I’m wearing disposable underwear?
